The Rules!!!

01. Please respect everyone on the site. We want to make this place a friendly environment, so name calling and such is not appreciated. This site is meant for fun and roleplaying.
02. No God Modding. You cannot decide whether someone's character lives or dies. They put a lot of effort into their characters, and there's no point in roleplaying if you decide for them what their characters are going to do.
03. Don't make your characters perfect, because nobody is perfect. Everyone has a dark side to them, even the nicest person. Plus, we like to see variety in your characters.
04. This site is rated PG-13, so while swearing is somewhat okay, as well as a decent amount of violence, we don't want you to go over the top. Please no explicit sexual or violent content as it is against proboards tos and will be deleted immediately.
05. Be reasonable about characters. Most women in Middle Earth aren't going to go out on the battle field, and most men won't be a really skilled warrior. It just isn't so common.
06. If you make a canon you HAVE to be active! We can't stress this enough, as the canons will play a major role in the plot, and without them the plot gets stuck.
07. This is an intermediate to advanced site, so we'd like at least 500 words in each post, so that each person has the chance to really respond to something. If it's shorter it tends to be more difficult to get something going, or to really respond to the post.
08. This site is AU, which means that many times there will be a case where the plot strays from the way the story actually goes.
09. We do have a limit with characters, but that mostly goes with canons. You can only make two canons overall, since we want to make sure others have the chance to play a canon.
10. Please make sure to post in past tense, third person.
11. Avatar size can go up to 200x200. We'd like you to have at least an avatar, but it would be great if you had a signature too.
